Oscar & Lila
My hubby took this shot of me with Oscar and Lila earlier tonight. My baby is getting so big! Just two months ago I could hold her in one hand, and now she's 40 pounds!! They grow up so fast ;-)

I love intimate, or small weddings. Groups that are just the closest of close friends and family. That is exactly who Loretta and Michael invited to their intimate wedding ceremony at the Naples Grande. Their guests joined them for a beautiful ceremony on the hotel terrace. Lisa, from I Deux Weddings, officiated their ceremony while the super talented Seaside Strings added the music. Needless to say, it was perfect. Loretta and Michael are so sweet, such a happy couple, I loved that I could be a part of their special day!
The PIKE fraternity guys at FGCU have asked us to help them out with a philanthropy project. Every year they create and sell a calendar to raise money for Relay for Life for the American Cancer Society. They really put a lot of effort into making this nice and have, in the past, raised a lot of money for the cause. This year we are doing all of the photography for the calendar. We are about half way through the shoots and really having a great time with it. I'll include a quick shot I got when we finished up today, once we're all done I'll be sure and post shots of each of our models. 14 gorgeous FGCU girls! I think this years calendar is going to be their best yet!
What a great event to photograph! Emily and I, along with Olivia, slipped out of the studio a little early today so that we could head over to the Obama rally. It was such a fun experience. I'm so glad Olivia was able to take part in the event. I love that she is interested in our political process. Everyday she has been asking me new questions about the candidates. I think I have a budding politician on my hands!
With the bulk of our events happening on the weekend, Monday is usually the day that we get to exhale. That's usually true, but the past few weeks have been the exception. I don't know as though we have had an off day in weeks! Today started pretty early with appointments and I would say ended when I finished up my shoot tonight at 7pm, but that wouldn't account for the past two hours I just spent catching up on email! Okay, that's the end of the pitty party! Honestly, I can't think of a better way to spend my time, so it's not really a complaint. Actually I have had some amazing weddings and some really cool portrait sittings, I'm more bummed that there isn't enough time in the week to post all of them here!
Here is one of those great portraits. It's Lauren and Josh's engagement sitting. They are the coolest couple. As soon as we started shooting their engagement I was getting excited for their wedding! They are so much fun, so adorable together and totally up for anything! A photographers dream! 7 months till the big day, I can't wait!
