Photographing on Sanibel: by Krista

Mike has been rubbing it in all week that he was going to St. John to photograph a wedding. I was a little jealous, but the more I thought about it, being "stuck" on Sanibel Island isn't such a bad deal! And after Saturday I'm sure I had just as much fun photographing right here at home! I photographed Jennifer and Brandt's big day at the Sundial and we had a really good time taking pictures. They are a sweet couple and I think it showed in all of their pictures. Their wedding party and all of their guests were exceptionally nice. We really had a fun evening on Sanibel!

Bon Voyage Mike!

Mike is off today to photograph Jeanine and Robin's wedding in the Virgin Islands. He's spending tomorrow exploring the islands and then their ceremony is on Sunday evening. Check back next week, I'm sure he'll post some of his images right here in our blog.

Katie and Jason's Wedding at South Seas

Nobody wishes for rain on a wedding day, but every now and then it does happen. This past Saturday was one of those days. Fortunately we were at South Seas photographing a really fun group. We created some great images, in the rain! It was Katie and Jason's big day and they were a blast to work with. Amanda, the coordinator at South Seas provided everyone in the wedding party with blue umbrellas. We all grabbed our umbrellas and took the trolley out to the beach. We had so much fun and got some really great shots! They say that Amanda never misses a detail, but matching umbrellas! She really is the best!

Also included are a couple of shots of Katie and Jason's tent on the lawn at South Seas. Everyone always asks to see pictures of the tent, so here it is!

We finally updated the pictures of us last week. This time, we brought Krista's 7 year old daughter, Olivia, along with us. She's an aspiring photographer and really wanted to come take a few pictures too. We gave her a camera and let her shoot away. We had no idea that she would take so many amazing images. I've included a few that she took as well as a couple we got of her. Anyone planning a wedding for 2020, I think I know a great upcoming photographer!

Jaime and Jody's Wedding in St. Pete. by Krista

What a great event! I was really excited to see Jaime and Jody's final images today. Their wedding was on the beach in St. Pete and was simply amazing. I met Jaime 4 years ago when I photographed her brothers wedding in Michigan. I was so thrilled to hear that she liked her brothers pictures so much that she contracted me to photographer her wedding as well. They had both me and Audrey shooting together. It was great seeing some of the amazing images that Audrey created from the same situation. I love when I have the opportunity to shoot along with Audrey or Mike. They are both so talented. As a photographer I am always looking for inspiration to create better more unique images. It's so wonderful to often find that inspiration from the photographers that I shoot with.
