Girls Weekend

Greetings from the Bahamas! Okay, I'm here again. I love it here what can I say! The first time I came here was to photograph a wedding. I fell in love with the island (and the quick and easy 25 min. flight!). Since then this has become one of my favorite getaways.

This time has been a really special trip, my close friend and client, Kim and her family came along with us. Kim and I met when I photographed her wedding in 2002. We hit it off and I have since become great friends with both her and her family. We all had so much fun this weekend. I'll post a few pix here.

Studio Party

There was a lot of excitment at the studio tonight. My daughter turned 8 years old today, so we invited her closest friends to the studio for a rockstar fashion shoot party. The girls were great, I had so much fun photographing them.

Oh, and for those of you that aren't familiar with 8 year old pop-culture icons, that's Hannah Montana in the group photo with the girls!

Courtney & Richard at Casa Ybel

I just got to look over the final images from Courtney and Richards wedding at Casa Ybel on Sanibel Island. What a beautiful event. Tiffany and I really enjoyed photographing their special day. Check out a few of my favorite images from the wedding!

I'm the one wearing flip flops in the middle of winter in Detroit!

I'm stuck in Detroit!! I had a layover from Vegas and my connection was canceled. It's Easter weekend, all the flights are over booked, so I have to spend the night here. I've got a later flight tomorrow night. Luckly one of my favorite hotels is here. It's the Westin in the Detroit airport. No really, this is such a nice hotel and it happens to be right in the middle of the airport! I've actually stayed here before. And, since I'm a frequent guest with the hotel chain, I get a 4pm check out. I just love the Westin... I wish I could say the same thing about Spirit Airlines... Did I mention that they lost my luggage too!!!

UHH, I just saw on the weather, snow tomorrow night!!! I hope I can get out of here!! I thought Vegas was cold!! And my only shoes are flip flops!!!!
