Tiffany Is Back!!!

Finally! Baby Keegan is going to share her. She's back from maternity leave and she hasn't wasted any time getting back to business! Monday Tiffany and I skipped out and went over to Miami together to attend a photography seminar (and enjoy a fun evening in Coconut Grove!). The rest of the week Keegan has come along though, so we are sharing!!!

I posted a few pix from her first wedding since she has returned to work. Tiffany has been shooting small events and family portraits with us for the past year, but this was her first big wedding that she photographed herself. I'm so proud of her! I knew she was an amazing photographer when she first joined Impressions, but she has really proven herself to be such a huge talent!

Summery of The Impressions Photography Blog

I think I can pretty much sum up this entire blog in one entry, it would read:

I love my job, I love my staff and I have weimaraner puppy!

So, no need to read back, that pretty much covers it! But, to bring you up to date on my favorite topics:

1) Lila, my weimaraner puppy is too cute. Next week her and I are taking a road trip together. We're driving up to Pennsylvania, with a few stops between here and there. I'll fill you in on all of the adventures of Lila as we go. I can't wait!!

2) I was recently quoted in an article for Studio Photography Magazine. I think that's really funny, I don't even know why, it just is. I was asked about how we manage to stay busy during our slow season and they quoted me. So anyway, my job, it makes me laugh and I love it!!

3) My staff. They constantly make me laugh! Today was the big NAWP bridal show at Germain Arena. So we dragged half of our studio to an ice rink and proceeded to stand in the same spot for 5 hours. Sounds like a blast, right? Believe it or not, Mike and Tiffany made it a great time for me. They are both so much fun to be around, it really was a good time! Oh, and we met some cool couples too... so that didn't hurt either ;)

Okay that's it for one post that says it all (and long winded blogging). I'm sure Mike is going to make fun of my lengthy entry and the use of bad personal pictures here. So before I make it any longer or I'm tempted to add more funny pix of us! Good night!!

School Pictures

Today is picture day at Olivia's school. There is something so kitsch about the school picture... it's so bad it's good (or at least funny!). I snapped this one of her in front of the house just before she left this morning. It's that goofy smile that she (and every 8 year old) does. I usually work so hard to get her laughing and not doing "that smile", but in honor of picture day, why not!

Another Beautiful South Seas Weddings!

Have I mentioned lately how much I just love my job? I go to weddings for a living... top that! It's especially cool when I have an amazingly beautiful bride like Mikalyn. Is she hot or what?!!

Mike and Ira's hurricane wedding...

The 7pm ceremony was moved to 3pm and Tropical Storm Fay held off just long enough for Mike and Ira to have their beautiful beach ceremony at Sanibel Harbour Resort. They are such an adorable couple, I was so relieved that we got to take all of the fun pictures of the two of them on the beach.

As for the storm, it looks like everything is fine. Our power was out for a bit, but that just came back on and I'm already here at my computer, so we're good to go!

Hurricane's Blow.

I think about once a year I have a wedding on a Monday and today is that day! Urr, we can't have a hurricane today! Ira and Michael are getting married! Somebody call the weather channel, mother nature, whoever, can we reschedule this hurricane?

Rachel and Jeremy's wedding at South Seas

Yep, it's another beautiful wedding at South Seas! Mike photographed Rachel and Jeremy's wedding on the beach at South Seas last month. It's such an amazing location to photograph weddings. There is a charm about the property that is so much fun to capture. And, it looks like Rachel and Jeremy had just as much fun being photographed! Mike caught some really fun moments! I'm sure they're going to love their pictures!
