I was beyond thrilled to be a part of this special wedding... I've known Lisa for almost 10 years. She's the best, most specail vetrenarian in all of Southwest Florida. We met her when Oscar was a lil' puppy and loved her so much, that we followed her when she opened the Bayshore Animal Clinic in Nort Fort Myers. Oscar, my super size Weimaraner, has needed more medical attention than any normal pet, and Lisa has been the sweetest, most caring vetranarian. We have been so fortunate to have had her caring for Oscar. I was thrilled that I could offer my services to her and Anthony for their day!! Anthony and Lisa were so much fun to work with... and of course their blended family (Lisa's two dogs combined with Anthony's two) was a treat to photograph!

I occasionally have a client who will tell me they don't want to have pictures of themselves "getting ready", so they suggest that we don't do pictures before the ceremony. As I always say, I am super flexible and I will do whatever my client wants BUT, I always have suggestions!

The before ceremony pictures of the girls getting ready is a nice way to begin the documentation of the day, but there is so much more to the before pictures than just getting into dresses. This is the point where I am going to capture many of the details: the dress hanging, shoes, jewelry etc. I am also using this time to capture candid moments of family and friends as well as the bride. Lastly, I find this is really the best time to create portraits of the bride alone. Hair and make-up are perfect, there aren't as many people around us, it's by far the best time to capture those elegant images.

I have to admit, I love shooting the before pictures. There is so much emotion and always so many fun moments. I love being the fly on the wall and just waiting for beautiful moments to present themselves. I'm smiling just thinking about it!

Tiffany and I both enjoyed working with this adorable couple! Kristin and Mark were married at Diamond Head Resort on Fort Myers Beach.

Myself, Tiffany and Emily had the pleasure of working with this wonderful couple! Kendra & Curt were married at a beach ceremony at Tween Waters on Captiva Island. I can't say enough great things about this couple. A truly fun, down to earth duo that planned the perfect intimate destination wedding. It was such a pleasure to be a part of this event!

We're still in the Bahama's, but I just couldn't wait to take a peak at Susanna and Jeff's wedding pictures. I have so many great things to say about them, their group the beautiful event and oh the location! But I'll leave you with this preview of their big day for now. Check back for all of the details!

Impressions is on the road again! This time we are on Paradise Island in the Bahamas. We are here to photograph Susanna and Jeff's wedding. I am so thrilled to be a part of this special weekend. The ceremony is being held at the Cloisters tomorrow afternoon. I got to see this absolutely perfect location for the first time today and I am beyond excited... it's amazingly beautiful! I can't wait to photograph their wedding!

Olivia recently informed me that if she doesn't become a photographer like me, she's thinking she'll just be a rock star.

Here are a few pix I grabbed of my little rock star being her silly self! It was Easter Sunday at grandma's house where she insisted on wearing her Christmas 2007 dress... yep, it's two sizes too small, but I try to save the fashion debates for when they really count!

So much fun! Emily and I had a great night at Evan & Lexie's wedding. We met up with the couple several hours before the ceremony to capture many of these shots. As you'll see I just LOVED the green wall in the girls room at the clubhouse. I couldn't have picked a better color myself!

It really was a beautiful night on Marco Island. The weather was perfect, the beach was beautiful. I couldn't imagine a better way to spend the evening! Thanks Lexie and Evan for including us in your big day!

I was so honored to find out that Impressions Photography was listed in the Knot's annual Best Of Weddings edition again this year. The Best of Weddings issue includes a nation wide list  of the most talented wedding professionals. It's incredible company to be in!

What really makes this list special though, is that it is completely based on past couples reviews of each of the vendors. I am beyond thrilled that our brides and grooms have enjoyed our services so much that they have taken the time to talk about it! What an honor!

Is she a doll or what!? In my 10 years as a professional photographer I've gained a few tricks to get the little ones to smile. None of that was necessary with Lillith, she came in ready to pose! Her adorable smile is just infectious! It really made for a fun shoot!
